Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Life has many chapters. Some chapters have neat and finite endings before the next one begins. But usually these chapters or phases of life overlap. How are you transitioning from one chapter of your life to the next? Are you in lost in between chapters? Perhaps you’ve been stuck in the same chapter for too long and you’re ready for something different. Chapters don’t only end when the things around us change. Chapters can begin anew when we are ready to make changes.
Change takes courage, support and often some new or updated skills. My passion is helping clients to navigate life’s transitions, particularly issues around aging and caregiving. I specialize in the emotional wellness of older adults and am interested in areas around Caregiver Burden and Burnout, Alzheimer’s/Dementia
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master’s Degree in Social Welfare, with a specialization in gerontology, from the University of California, Los Angeles. I have worked in community health settings, hospitals, and wellness centers. I believe in a person-centered approach while working with you towards creating a more balanced and peaceful life. I offer clients a non-judgmental and compassionate safe space to be your true self, to dream, to question, to take risks, and to make changes.
